This is a new weekly feature every Sunday (except when I forget and upload it on Monday…) that highlights all the movies I’ve seen while I’m on “Holiday”*.
This is a rather wet version of an awesome novel by Jules Verne, first made into a movie in 1956. Jackie Chan plays an accident prone fugitive who ends up as valet to Steve Coogan’s Phineas Fogg. Watch this one when it comes on TV if there’s nothing else on.
What is it with modern remakes of classic Science Fiction novels being so wet? Made in 2002, Guy Pierce plays Alexander Hartdegen, time machine inventor. It’s an ok movie.
