Heroes and Villains next weekend!!

The day is almost upon us!!   Next Saturday and Sunday, our friends at Culture Shock Events are brining a cavalcade of guests to Penrith Panthers, the first such event to be held in Sydney’s greater west!!

Here is a list of the guests that will be attending the event, a list that has expanded greatly from our original advertisements of this event..

Garry Chalk – Film, television and voice actor whom has contributed to shows such as Transformers, He-Man, Voltron Force and Stargate SG1.

Steve Blum – Voice actor best known as “Spike” from Cowboy Bebop, and Crash Bandicoot himself.

Marc Singer – Actor from the Beastmaster television series, and the original series of V.

Brian Buccellato – A comic book colorist most known for his work on DC’s The Flash.

Amber Benson – The Whedonverse is also covered in this event, with one of Buffy’s resident witches, Tara.   Her subsequent career has included being a writer, director and producer.

Bernie Kopell – The original Siegfried in Get Smart, as well as being Dr. Adam Bricker in The Love Boat.

Manu Bennett – Star of Spartacus: Vengeance.

Frazer Hines – The guest I am personally most excited to meet, Frazer Hines played companion Jamie to Patrick Troughton’s Second Doctor for almost the entire length of the Second Doctor’s tenure.

Rodger Bumpass – Voice actor known for his work on Spongebob Squarepants and Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego.

Tyler Posey – Lead actor from the TV series Teen Wolf.

Jane Balder – Replacing the now unable to make it JR Bourne, Jane is joining her fellow castmate Marc Singer from the original series of V.

William Geradts – Owner and developer of Beyond Reality Media in New Zealand!

Gunner Wright – Isaac from Dead Space, as well as starring in new Sci Fi feature Love.

William Eubank – Director of Love.

Tristan Jones – Comic book artist who has worked on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Ghostbusters.

Tom Taylor – Comic book writer of great acclaim, working on a number of popular Star Wars projects, , and winning the Aurelius award for The Deep: Here be Dragons.


In addition to all these guests, the event is a mini expo featuring a number of great exhibitors, including more friends of ours from Gametraders!!   We at Revenge of the Film   Nerds look forward to seeing you all there!!
